# Access Settings

In this block of settings, you can: 

(1) - specify what **action** should be requested[ **to access the password manager**:](https://key3.hideez.com/guide-for-hideez-key-bundle-with-bt-adapter/vault-settings/untitled-1) pressing the button on the Hideez Key, or entering the PIN-code, or both. 

(2) - [**change the master password**](https://key3.hideez.com/guide-for-hideez-key-bundle-with-bt-adapter/vault-settings/change-master-password) that you specified when installing Hideez Client. 

Also in this section you can set up the storage lock timeout. It is a time after which you have to unlock the key with the required action (button press or PIN code input) again.

There are 8 options in the dropdown list:

Do not forget to save your changes by clicking on the **Save** button.
